Immaculate inning is defined as 3 batters faced, 9 pitches thrown 3 K. Well that happened the other day, but it happened in the 10th inning so there was a runner on second and then between the 2nd and 3rd batter an intentional walk was issued. Obviously no pitches were thrown for the IBB, so still just 9 pitches, but things get goofy and of course there's no rule defining an immaculate inning so it's all just for ****s and giggles...
