That other team in town gets the first crack at the 2022 season along with the Brewers. Here's to the first game with the permanent universal DH.

    They're playing this season?

They get zero mentions whenever I listen to national MLB media.

They are now undefeated so far in 2022.
Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

All they did today was save their fans the embarrassment of being the first team to go 0-162.

1-161 is nothing to write home about, however.

And he had an effective inning to get the save.

Was this the first game ever at Wrigley Field with a designated hitter?

Unless at some point they hosted a game where the AL team was actually the home team due to weird scheduling glitch I would guess yes.

Didn't the NL use the DH during the shortened 2020 season?

                    Yep.
Nellie had more doubles than strikeouts every year from 1950 to 1963, and more triples (12) than strikeouts (11) in 1951 (682 plate appearances.)

                      Brewers win, 5-4 today.

At least the evil blue and white Marquee Network empire won't go 162-0.🤣🤣

Don't think Flubbie fans can make attendance jokes at our expense right now.
The lack of sold-out crowds for openers in baseball this year was especially conspicuous with the Cubs and Wrigley Field.

The Bears returned to their old stomping grounds today and beat the Steelers 21-0.
