    Buster Posey has announced his retirement from baseball after 12 seasons with the Giants, including 3 World Series titles. He's going out on top as he hit .304 with an .889 OPS in 2021.
    SAN FRANCISCO -- After his flight landed at San Francisco International Airport on Thursday, Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi lingered at his gate longer than usual. A part of Zaidi was still in denial, refusing to accept that he was about to watch the greatest catcher in Giants

    Verlander held an audition yesterday, threw about 20 pitches, hit mid 90's on the gun. 15-20 teams were present.

      Yankees GM Brian Cashman at the GM meetings said the Yankee payroll which was 197 million last year will go up this season.

            He's absolutely right.
            Nellie had more doubles than strikeouts every year from 1950 to 1963, and more triples (12) than strikeouts (11) in 1951 (682 plate appearances.)
