Four shot outside Nationals Stadium in Washington tonight. Game was suspended in the 6th inning as fans left the stadium and players ran back into the dugouts. Game resumed Sunday.

It won't be this year and probably not for several more. They are currently 1-game over and 6.5 games behind Oakland for the 2nd WC slot. Between now and 8/5 they play Oakland 6 times and another 11 games against Minnesota, Colorado and Texas. Rendon doesn't really care about baseball as long as his paychecks are not bouncing. He's still in one of the top media markets in the world. If the Angels don't make some moves to become more competitive then he might eventually want to move to a team with a better chance to win a title. That year 3 arb offer is going to have to break the bank if he keeps this up. Angels might be hesitant to take on another 10/400 deal. That's a lot of money to wrap up in two players. So cost might simply force them to trade him.
