  • Offer ends 4/5: TMobile Tuesday Free MLB is back this year

It's official. I'm seeing a note in the TMobile Tuesday App under messages. It was posted 22 days ago actually. It will be available on 3/30

When you get a deal like that, is it limited to watching on your phone, or can you stream it on other devices (smart TVs, Roku, etc.)?
Nellie had more doubles than strikeouts every year from 1950 to 1963, and more triples (12) than strikeouts (11) in 1951 (682 plate appearances.)

Yes, I watch on ipads and my computer regularly. Only thing you can't do is watching on a phone with a different cell provider plan. That's to prevent people from paying for a single month to get the free perk and then quitting TMobile. You can still get away with that, but can't watch on your other cell phone or they will cancel you. Happened to at least a couple people who posted at WSI in the past.

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to stream it to the TV. I don't have a smart TV so don't know for sure.

Yes, you can stream it from an iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV. I don’t know about other devices.

My Samsung smart TV has an MLB.tv app, and I was able to watch directly through the app last year using this deal. I imagine the app also exists for Roku and other devices.

Yes, MLB.TV has a Roku app. That's how I watch. I was just wondering whether, since the deal is from a cellular provider, it was only on the phone.

IIRC the deal just activates something in your mlb.com account and you can watch it anywhere after you sign in.

No, if you watch using a different provider's phone they will cancel your contract. TV, computer, iPad okay but at least one poster on WSI had their account canceled when they logged in on another providers cell phone. Of course that person had signed up for a one month prepaid plan from TMobile just to get the deal and then dropped the account and continued using their regular provider. For most people this won't be an issue but for people looking to take advantage it is something to be aware of.

T-Mobile is, far and away, the best entity that I have ever paid a monthly bill to. Can't wait to hear Jason and Steve again.

I've been a Sprint customer for 2 decades, and the T-mobile merger was a pleasant surprise.

Yeah I had Sprint for a long time then got fed up with their sluggish adaptation to 4G and switched to TMobile and was very happy. Then when the wife and I decided to upgrade phones we ended up back with Sprint and it was okay, but I was very happy to see the merger go through and now I get my free baseball back. Since I pay for MLB.TV every year anyway, this is like getting 3 months free cell payments.

                        It also works with Chromecast.

Their vaudeville comedy act today (and other games I've seen them on this spring) reminded me how much I can't stand them together. The action on the field went unnoticed while they tried to be funny. I so enjoyed the games with Rich King and Chuck Garfein. They actually talked about the game and baseball.

Nobody can please everyone, but Jason and Steve were ranked the 8th best broadcast team in MLB by the Athletic and the 2nd best broadcast team in MLB by Fangraphs. I appreciate the way that Jason brings modern analytics into his announcing, and I use the term "MVP season" to describe what Steve Stone had in the booth in 2020, where he had a Romo-like ability to predict what would happen next.

Steve Stone was phoning it in the last few seasons with Hawk, pairing him with Jason has definitely brought back peak Steve.
