Lol at all the Cubs fans on Twitter asking the Sox to take Q back. Fat chance.
I’d take him back if the price was low enough...say, Fulmer and Palka.
Cubs acquired Q for Jimenez and Cease, so returning a power-hitting “outfielder” and a pitcher on the cusp of major-league greatness — both of them with slightly longer major league track records — seems fair. After all, Q is injured, and a rental.
Jose was my favorite player on the Sox for several years, I'd totally take him back. Obviously not for Eloy, but it would be neat if he ended his career in a Sox jersey.

His FIP was a full run lower than Keuchel's last year. I'm sure one of our young guys will step up, but going into the season if Quintana was on our roster, he'd slot after Giolito. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Especially at his current salary.
Tanaka was pitching in a simulated game at Yankees practice and took a screamer from Stanton off the side of the head. He’s was down for awhile, but walked off the field.
What a strange injury; hasn't the man ever hear of a dishwasher?
You're not supposed to put good knives in the dishwasher. The water pressure knocks them up against other silverware and dulls them. I don't know if he was cut by a knife, but it's not a bad bet.
Nellie had more doubles than strikeouts every year from 1950 to 1963, and more triples (12) than strikeouts (11) in 1951 (682 plate appearances.)
