Oakland sends Jorge Mateo to San Diego for a PTBNL.

With as thin as the White Sox are in the middle infield, I would have been happy to see Mateo in silver and black.

I’m okay with betting on Mendick as our primary backup there, but yes, it’s always nice to have those guys. I always wonder the actual cost in the PTBNL trades.
