Giolito with a nice outing and Burger comes through again with bases clearing 3 run double.
Vaughn in a slump, give him a rest and let Sheets play first for a couple games.
TA on grounders is just jogging, he should have beat out 2 DP balls easily, he has to be hurt but with Elvis out who could play shortstop.
Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

Nice to see them playing ball that keeps the blood pressure down. Be nice if they could string together about 2 weeks of this stuff. Burger up to 29 RBI with that nice paddle to the gap in right. Yup, would like to see Shields at 1B while Vaughn takes a few days off. I’m a sucker for left handed power hitting first baseman.
What’s up with this pitching staff? Where the hell did these guys come from? It’s fun to watch when they keep the ball inside the ballpark.
Agreed. I love me some Andrew Vaughn, but he's been bad lately.
Let’s hope your schtick sends him on a tear.
If not, and if his struggles continue until Eloy’s rehab stint concludes, and if Burger and Sheets continue to out-produce Vaughn, then perhaps Vaughn should be optioned to Charlotte.

Left handed hitting first basemen like Ted Kluszewski? It’s a shame Klu wasn’t a member of the Sox when he had his great years with the Reds, we might have won another pennant or 2 before 1959 with him in the Sox lineup.

That’s a definite.. Too bad we got him on the downslope after his back started acting up. He would have been splintering a lot of seats around the league. A .300 hitter and over a 120 dingers in a 3 years would have been just what the Dr. ordered. How the hell didn’t we snatch him out of our own back yard in Argo.
