Sure. I'm certain they've got another one-game winning streak in them.
Nellie had more doubles than strikeouts every year from 1950 to 1963, and more triples (12) than strikeouts (11) in 1951 (682 plate appearances.)

Not until a lot of changes happen.

Also what the **** was Robert doing in center with Eloy. You haven’t had a good game in 2 weeks, you swing at everything and now you’re going to **** around in the field. Bench his ass.

I am amazed that this team even has seven wins; how can anybody watch this **** show?

They currently are on pace to lose 115. Wouldn't be shocked if they even approached that.

I will be. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting this team to suddenly go on a tear, but I'm not going to assume they'll be historically bad by MLB standards either. Playing two of the best teams in the AL on the road when the Sox are struggling isn't the best way to project end of year record.

WSox are 25th in team OPS, 29th in team ERA, and 18th in team fielding percentage. Meanwhile we have more injuries mounting- Grandal with back spasms, Moncada with his lingering back issues, and Lynn looking like the combination of his age and his lack of conditioning is catching up with him.

We still have our chronic holes at 2nd base, right field and the lack of LH power and the lack of a LH starting pitcher- holes that have existed since the end of 2021.

We may not be historically bad- but this is a bad baseball team with really no way to improve- no help coming from the farm system and no trade bait to address our holes.

I think we'll be lucky to finish ahead of Detroit when it's all said and done this season.

I want to disagree, but today's starting second baseman has an OPS+ of 6. Which is horrifying until you realize the starting right fielder has an OPS+ of -42.
