  • Home Opener 4/3 Update: Game Time Moved to 2:10

Any chance the start time gets moved up because of the weather forecast? Tuesday also doesn't look great so just wondering if there is precedent for this.

Got 30k+ tickets sold I doubt they will tell people they have to come early. Would be weird if both days were rained out might have doubleheader opening day.

    Edit: well never mind then.

They did that a few times during 2020 - of course there were no fans to account for.

That must be what I'm remembering. Well. Just hope for the best I guess.

And there you have it. Moved to 2:10 pm.
Nellie had more doubles than strikeouts every year from 1950 to 1963, and more triples (12) than strikeouts (11) in 1951 (682 plate appearances.)

When was the last time a home opener has been rained out? I remember there was a LONG rain delay in 2006.

2017. They waited hours to call it when there was zero chance of playing. Thankfully, I had 300-level seats that day, so we were able to wait it out inside.

Memories of 1982- rain/snow led to an opening day "twi night" doubleheader.

Only way to do it…. The only thing missing is a flight attendant handing out the peanuts.

I drove from Wisconsin, got wet, paid for parking-food-beer, and ground back out of the city during rush hour with nothing to show.
