Didn't like the errors, but a most enjoyable game . love that there were no commercials, and they would show the field and dugout instead . man, i could get used to that.

I had commercials on my feed, but I also don't paid for YouTube Premium.

I was watching through the MLB.TV app on my computer and I didn't get ads either, just a countdown timer showing they were on break.

31 to go. Cleveland is currently losing, but it's early. If they do lose, we're 4 back. Both Cleveland and Minnesota will have 33 left after today. Guardians have 21 at home and 12 on the road, while the Twins have 12 home and 21 road.

We're going to probably need to win 20 of those 31 to have a shot. Don't know if this team has it in them. On paper we do (schedule isn't extremely difficult), but I don't know if the will is there.
              I want my $2

When you beat a team like the Royals while making 3 errors- it probably belongs in the "every team wins 60" category- but maybe we can end up 4 behind later tonight and be 3 behind by Labor Day- and may have a puncher's chance of getting in. Sure would be nice to get Robert and Moncada back along with Bummer for the stretch run.

Or the health. They need to get TA, Robert and Eloy playing again and playing well. This lineup is enough to beat KC, but it's not going to fare well against better teams with better pitching. I said it in the game thread. The next 10 games will make or break this season.

I don’t see Jimenez or Robert helping much from here on and I wonder if Anderson can help at all or will be back. Hand and wrist injuries are very tricky and usually need more time than expected.

Without those three guys playing and playing well this team isn't going anywhere, period. It doesn't matter whether people like them or trust them to stay healthy and contribute it only matters that they are a huge part of the core of the team from an expectations perspective. There are no replacements for their expected talent and performance levels, period.

Use this statement for next year also.

Next year is next year. I've said I want most of the players back from this years team. I think it's too soon to give up on so much raw talent.

Hopefully a full offseason spent training under the supervision of the Sox training staff (or at least in regular contact with them, which was prohibited during the insipid lockout) will result in Sox players entering the 2023 season in better health/conditioning to remain productive for the entire season.

No choice, the Sox will get only 50 cent on a dollar return which wont be enough to compete.
