Lynn pitched well, there was just enough offense, and the bullpen was almost perfect. Can't ask for more except maybe some more timely hitting.

TWO GAMES OVER?!?!?! I wasn’t sure that was legal…

top of the lineup continues to get on base with this new lineup. Stay right there, Tony.

Eloy is a ****ing stud! Nice for Lynn to have a solid outing and yes backend continues to lock it down. Diekman has been very adequate.

First time since April 20. High water mark was 4 over (6-2) on April 16, right before we started an 8-game losing streak.

5-3 in the 19-game stretch. Need to keep it up with the next 8 on the road (off-day Monday, doubleheader Tuesday). Good news is that in the last 5 starts, we've gotten at least 5 out of every starter (Cueto 7 on Saturday, Cease 6 on Sunday, Kopech 7 on Monday, Giolito 5 yesterday, and Lynn 6 today).

Glad we didn’t lose the series to KC. But **** 12 hits and 11 were singles. They need to figure this out.

Good to see Lynn throw down a quality start. Next step, do it twice in a row.

Baby steps… Baby steps… They beat those ****ers who usually stick the knife in when they’re flailing like a walleye hopping around in the boat. I love hits of any kind. > K, GIDP, Worm back burners and Warning Track Fly outs. We just need to get more meat bags to touch the dish after they do get on.

Don’t stop now boys!!! Keep the train rolling.

I was hoping for a split in TX, but now i'm thinking 3/4.

His fastball had much more life today. Nice to see him come back after the delay.

I'm encouraged by Kopech's Giolito's and Lynn's last outings. I know it's against the Royals, but all three pitched well. Cleveland plays Houston and the Twinkies play Toronto (followed by the Dodgers) while the Sox visit Arlington. Time to make our move.

Resulting in four runs. Recurring theme there. Our guys keep leaving money on the table, as they say in certain other circles. Abreu was not part of the problem today. He's had guys getting on base ahead of him all season. About time he picked some of them up.
Ah, you can't beat fun at the old ball park.

Reminiscent of the ALDS last year where the first extra base hit the Sox got came in game 3 when Grandal hit an oppo HR. All singles is not going to lead to much success. Robert coming back will hopefully give us a spark.

Agreed that the biggest positive from this series was the starting pitching. I actually went into this series a little worried, because we were sending out our three worst starters, each of whom has had some recent struggles. But all 3 looked as good as they have all season. Lynn in particular today looked like the dominant horse we all loved to watch last year.

Yup, and if it wasn't for the one extra-base hit, the Sox would have scored one run instead of 4. Ball go far, team go far - even Hahn said it yesterday.
