Great infield defense tonight, and happy Liam got the save despite more shakiness. Let's keep this train rolling.

Heart attack city watching that one. Always a threat from the Rockies. Sox pissed away several chances to blow it open themselves but all is well that end's well. Great infield defense indeed. Now let's get tomorrow too so we can start putting .500 in the rearview.

Nice tight win. Kopech was very solid after he got past his shakiness and yes the defense was spectacular. Liam handing out heart palpitations, but got it done. Rough night for Vaughn and Abreu, but Pollock remains hot and Grandal is definitely settling in. Milwaukee walking off the Twinkies doesn't hurt either...

Cardiac arrest here too. Stone can stop talking lockdown closer any time he wants. Abreu living up to his .230 BA w/RISP. Yes, I know his other stats are positive, but he's a run producer, not a leadoff man.
Ah, you can't beat fun at the old ball park.

2-1 squeaker in mile high Denver, who woulda thunk it?
Great to be over .500, don't stop now boys!

Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

Hey Nell… I hope they brought some 02 for the boys this series. Serves a double purpose. The heights they are scaling in uncharted territory and the cranial enrichment so’s they don’t bonehead and lame out on the field.

Nice win. Had a certain 60’s feel to it. Keep the damn train rolling.

Not exactly sure how's he doing it, but Jimmy Lambert now has one foot firmly planted within the circle of trust. And Kelly has seven consecutive scoreless outings. Keep it going.

Greetings from Denver. There was a very sizable and vocal contingent of Sox fans at the game last night and we saw a good one. Here’s to a repeat performance this afternoon so I can fly home happy tonight.

We held on for a 2-1 victory but in the standings, it is the same as if we won 10-0. And now the boys are only 3 back from the top spot.

Great to be over.500 . leave it in the wake and full steam ahead . hope Giolito pitches better today, than he did last outing . love when they play in Denver, such a beautiful ballpark . lived over on the western slope for a few years . miss those mountains.

Vegas still believes in us even if some of our fandom is shaky. Over MIN and big over CLE.

Klu, exactly what I was thinking, 1967 to be exact.

Remember, in 2020 Lambert started the season with the Sox after a good "Summer Camp", and he looked like he could be a useful part of the bullpen. Then he went on the IL a week later and lost the rest of the season, part of his recovery from TJS.

It looks like he has regained that form a couple years later. The Sox are eventually going to have a few more bullpen options once VV/Bummer get healthy and in all likelihood they trade for a LHRP, but I've got to think that Lambert's roster spot is secure. I think they'd send Foster down first, and it might also be time to finally say goodbye to Ruiz (out of options). VV is a DFA candidate as well if/when he gets off the IL.
