TA is what, 27? He needs a day off after playing a couple of games in a row?
TLR 2.0 is not working out so well. I wasn't happy when he got fired the last time, but I got over it quick.
And leading off a guy who's well under .200 last time I looked?
Well, I hope the good Garcia shows up, and he goes 4 for 4.

What make it frustrating is that it is in the context of Leury also being the first option at 2B, and also getting playing time in the OF, when there are better options at 2B (Harrison) and in the OF (Pollock, Engel).
In other words, while none of us can know what’s actually going through his mind, we can say that if LaRussa were managing the lineup as if the primary consideration is keeping Leury’s LH bat in the lineup as much as possible, and organizing rest days for other, better, players so as to ensure Leury “gets his at bats,” then it would look exactly like this.

I often have the same problem when people refer to players by their initials.I’ve got so many military acronyms stuffed in my cranium that once they started with the ROFLMAO and the like online, I swear I had a brain bleed. I guess nicknames have been replaced with initials and unfortunately I’ve sinned in that area using JT for Johnny Toews.
