  • *OFFICIAL* 6.22.22 Postgamer....Gio-lose-Ito lays an egg

Don't know what's going on with Gio, his ERA is now over 5.
We almost made a nice comeback but because Mendick and Engel leaving the game due to injuries and Robert being pulled we fell short, tying run came to to the plate in the 8th but no cigar.

Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

I didn't see the game, but looking at the box score it has Vaughn playing 2nd.
    How'd that look? Kinda intriguing!

Made a bad throw but as usual TLR put a crap lineup out there to begin with.
If Mendick and Engel go on the IL, I have no idea who will be called up, probably Sheets and maybe Sanchez. The Baseball Gods really have it in for the Sox this year.

Giolito is costing himself a bundle. Not the same guy. For one thing, his fastball lacks movement and hitters sit on his change.
Ah, you can't beat fun at the old ball park.

Bizarre.. I’ve seen some crazy **** over the years, but this season takes the cake, fork and plate. Too bad Rod Serling isn’t around to write a few episodes on this Zone of incredulity. He’d probably start it out puffing on a Winston and wearing a Dodgers cap.

And the Sox saved a bundle by not extending him.

Again, 5 games ago his ERA was below 3.

Something is clearly wrong with him, but it doesn’t mean he’ll never figure it out or that he isn’t going to be okay long-term. We’ve watched him be one of the best pitchers in the league the past 3 seasons.
