  • *Official* 4/9 Win No. 1 Postgamer

Wasn't always easy, but we're on the board in 2022.

Sometimes it seems like it's so hard to get the first one. Nice timely hitting today and a good job by Cease, let's win the series tomorrow, TA is back!

Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

Needed that. Huge difference between 1-1 and 0-2 given our starting pitching situation.

Given the situation and the "One-A-Day" injuries, I'm just grateful for any win they can get.

To have one almost-win and one solid win while playing so short-handed feels good. Once we’re full strength….unstoppable.

            YAY! Happy Birthday, Mom!

Always nice to get the first win. Offense looking solid more so once we get TA back. Nice to see Vaughn off to a solid start. He's going to be crucial to the success this season and I have him pegged for a breakout season.

Hurray Hurray a win today!!!! Love it when they hold the lead and close the damn thing out. Still on pace for 161-1.

Eloy's 2-out RBIs were so big. Two days in a row for him.

I couldn’t watch today's game, just followed online, but Cease going ( strong was obviously the key. Nice to see his breakout season off to a good start

Cease by the way is now 12-0 in his career vs. Detroit, that may be some kind of Sox record.

I see what you did there and your hypothesis based on the Mendoza Theory of Mediocrity is quite correct.

Vaughn could be an elite hitter for us. People who think his 2021 numbers weren't that impressive need to remember that he was only played 55 minor league games total in his career (none of those games in AA or AAA) before moving up to the majors last season.

The offense should be great this year if there aren't any significant injuries. When you have Sheets, Engel and Burger as backups, things are looking good. It'll all come down to pitching, pitching, pitching.
