Have just published on the home page one of the first interviews I ever did, it's with Cory Snyder from back in 2002. His story is a cautionary tale that sometimes when a trade doesn't work out there are things going on behind the scenes that fans don't know about. In his case it was because of differences with then hitting coach Walt Hriniak.

I had high hopes for Snyder when the Sox traded for him. But he was bad. Worse than Adam Eaton (2021 version) and Nomar Mazara. Worse than Ryan Cordell. Fortunately Snyder's failure led to the Sox signing Ellis Burks for the 1993 season.
