Yelich has <cites statistic> coming into this year. Giving up on him 10 days into the season is ridiculous.

Mazara has been very solid defensively in RF so far. Much better than expected. I admit I was hoping for competent but he's been covering some ground and his glove work has been very solid.

Keuchel made it through 6 that's very helpful as much as we've been using the bullpen Still at 88 pitches wonder if they let him go one more. Need a couple runs here.

Ha...I just came to post that Mazara looks reasonably competent with the glove, and you beat me to it.

Alright Mendick with a 1-out double to bring up the top of the order.

Leury has also looked pretty good at SS. He looks more comfortable there than at 2B.

Is he better at making the routine plays than TA? I think he has better hands.

                    Throws better too.
Ah, you can't beat fun at the old ball park.

Throws more accurately, maybe, but not harder. Many of Tim’s throwing errors are on tough plays Leury wouldn’t make.

Yeah I mean in general slightly below average corner OFers in terms of defensive advanced metrics are grossly overblown to the negative impact they will have. Ridiculous hyperboles are used around these parts by people that don't understand what these players actually look like and their capabilities at these positions.

Leury/Collins/Mendick the bottom third of the order today. Brutal.

I don’t have a problem with this. Leury and Mendick have to bat somewhere. And if Collins is going to DH in place of EE, we don’t want him back to back with Mazara.
