    I just posted my interview with the late Bob Shaw. His work in 1959 helped the Sox win their first pennant in 40 years. I hope you will enjoy it, especially some of the older fans who remember Bob and perhaps even saw him pitch! As always any comments or questions should be directed here.

    I saw him pitch a few games including game 2 of the 59 Series. He pitched a very nice game in game 5 and Dick Donovon was excellent in relief going 1 2/3 innings with Jungle Jim making an outstanding catch in the 7th inning to help preserve the 1-0 win.
