Please, Alex. Don't make us sweat like that. Still, I'll take a six-game winning streak.

I think we can go ahead and chalk up Giolito’s bad start against the Twins to Opening Day jitters. He really set the tone for this entire winning streak with that ace-level performance against the Indians, and he answered the call again today after yesterday’s heavy bullpen use.

I felt like giving up on this game when Giolito was wild in the first inning. I felt like giving up on this game when Madrigal made the first out at third and seemingly broke his wrist. I felt like giving up on this game when EE injured himself. I felt like giving up on this game when Giolito gave up that bomb. But the Sox never gave up on this game and battled back through adversity and against tough opposing pitching.
Honestly when Giolito threw all those really high fastballs in the first inning I thought he was injured. But then he struck out a perennial NL MVP candidate and induced a DP ground ball from the Brewer dangerous cleanup hitter (who protects an MVP candidate), who hit us hard last night. And he completely dominated the 2nd inning."Hope...may be indulged in by those who have abundant resources...but those who stake their all upon the venture see it in its true colors only after they are ruined."
