*OFFICIAL* 8/8/21; Eloy Thunder Takes City by Storm SOX 9 CUBS 3 Postgamer
Well that was fun . Tim Anderson, Andrew Vaughn and Eloy Jimenez all with a big night . how long before Andrew Vaughn is an all star . Renaldo Lopez looked sharp . the broadcast itself, seemed pretty strange.
With the exception of Cease's shakiness in the 2nd and 3rd innings, this was a very enjoyable game to watch - weird broadcast notwithstanding. It also felt like the most complete TEAM win (offense, defense, and pitching) in a very long time.
Excellent game, strange broadcast team though. Made me long for some 'Sox Math'. LOL
It is a pathetic broadcast. To think they interviewed Al Michaels too who is one of the all-time greats and then the world is left to sit through that clown show of a broadcast....anyway the more important stuff was fantastic! Cease scared me but held it together just enough. Robert back tomorrow. Good things coming.

It was awful. They were way up their own asses. At least Al Michaels did play-by-play while being interviewed.

Great game tonight. Dylan had me worried for a few innings, but he settled down in the end. I got tired of hearing about how we're supposed to cry for the ****ing Cubs because of their "Fire Sale". Eloy's a beast. Luis is back tomorrow.
I appreciated Matt Vasgersian's Dan Pasqua reference. On the whole though, I think I like it much better when national media ignores the Sox. Alex Rodriguez hurts my ears. We'll get punished more this week with ESPN game tomorrow night, YouTube on Wednesday and Joe Buck on Thursday night. ESPN 1000 will look mighty good for those broadcasts.
Andrew Vaughn has obviously put a lot of work in the outfield. Thinking longer term, it may not be a bad idea to give him more time in RF and make LF the spot to platoon/match-up.
I also think it's good to see Reynaldo Lopez pitching with a chip on his shoulder. He's channeling that in a good way.
