Eddy Alvarez, former White Sox prospect who was dealt to the Marlins, is set to become only the 3rd American to ever win a medal in both the winter and summer games with the US earning a spot in the Gold Medal Baseball game. He will become the first non bobsledder to ever earn this honor in the US. Pretty cool.
