  • Fox pulls an ESPN...

Fox's Ben Verlander today listed his top 10 teams in baseball. Guess who wasn't on the list?

Afterwards he tweeted and "apologized" saying he forgot to list the White Sox but that he is a big fan of theirs.

Sox fans aren't being as forgiving, even Tim Anderson got in on it!

Huh? Early this morning I saw something where he rated us number 4.

I'm looking at his list right now on Twitter:

      1.Giants
      2.Astros
      3.Dodgers
      4.Rays
      5.Brewers
      6.Red Sox
      7.Padres
      8.Yankees
      9.Blue Jays
      10.Athletics

Even David Haugh weighed in questioning the Blue Jays over the White Sox.

A Sox fan tweeted a legit question. They asked how come these networks never "forget" the Red Sox or Yankees?

That was in response to Verlander's mea culpa that he "forgot" to list the White Sox.

Maybe he dropped the Sox from the list after reading all the doom-saying about this team on WSI.

I wish other teams would not concern themselves with playing the Sox and underestimate us. But you can bet opposing teams don't want to be matched up against us in the playoffs.
