He's been an RBI machine since he joined the Sox and a model of consistancy to the nth degree.
Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

This tweet pretty much sums up my reaction to news. I had no idea he was OPS'ing nearly 1.200 over the past week, and that doesn't even take into account that he had like 4 or 5 great defensive plays (mostly scoops on bad throws).

A little over a year ago, a knock against Jose was that he had never been on a contender, and it wasn't clear he was the type of guy who could lead his team on a postseason run. What he's done since then has been absolutely remarkable. He's stepped up his game in every way imaginable, won an MVP, and has become the perfect leader for this young team. If he's able to lead the Sox to a World Series without any drop off in production, he might push for a HOF nod one day, which would have been a real stretch to consider a couple years ago.

Even if he doesn't make the Hall, he's quickly moving up this list of my favorite Sox players in my lifetime (and I'm sure that's true for many other Sox fans of this generation).
