Victor Martinez. Holy **** did I hate seeing that guy step up to the plate in a close game.

One could populate nearly entire starting nine of 2000s Twins who killed the Sox:

        Joe Mauer
        Justin Morneau
        Michael Cuddyer
        Torii Hunter
        Jacque Jones
        Nick Punto
        Lew Ford
        Denard Span
Even AJ Pierzynski was a pest until he joined us

Torii Hunter is another source of recurring nightmares.

Yogi Berra (who'd swing at a pitch up in his eyes and hit it into the upper deck)

Surprised this name hasn't come up: Bruce Chen.

Johan Santana. I had tickets to see the Sox play on my birthday in 2006, and when I saw that Johan Santana was starting for the Twins I just plain didn't go. And the Sox lost that day.

This thread needs more mid-2010's Royals, though Bruce Chen was the big one there.

Remember how before the 2005 ALCS, all of the west coast stadiums were houses of horror for the Sox? Chone Figgins of the Angels I recall as an especially bad pest.
