Frankly, I think flushing New York is a great idea.

Tony is making a lot of the same mistakes that got Renteria fired.

Maybe, but it’s not like he told Hendriks not to throw strikes.

From a pure baseball standpoint, two of these games were outstanding, but it's a good thing that there are four months left in the season, because the White Sox are just not ready for prime time . this was a tough one to swallow.

No but that was only Hendricks third walk all year and putting him in a game with zero margin for error is not exactly setting a guy up
            for success.

Renteria was fired for losing it mentally during the end-of-season near collapse. Just my opinion.
Ah, you can't beat fun at the old ball park.

If it's any consolation, this should convince Rick beyond a shadow of a doubt that he needs to acquire an outfield bat. How soon that can happen is anyone's guess at this point, but simply biding time for Jimenez and Robert to come back just won't cut it.

Twins beat the Indians in 10 innings, so despite being swept out of NYC the Sox are still in first place by 1.5 games.

The problem is who do the Sox have that anyone would want? They’re in a hard spot where they can’t fill one hole without creating another. Maybe someone like Sheets could come up and something?

Now coming up to bat for the White Sox is the Mighty Mite, Nelson Fox.

That was just a long, lost weekend. Just brutal.

I'm beginning to think the biggest issue with this team isn't the outfield situation because of injuries, but the bullpen.

The baseball gods must have been listening when Bummer ran his mouth in spring training.

When Vaughn hit that home run I was thinking "OK maybe"...but then to walk in the winning run? Sickening.

This series shows just how bad the Sox division is I guess.

                          It can’t possibly hurt.

There are still too many ****ty baseball players here, and they need to go away before October. If there isn’t money for a legit move, then give some of these kids a chance to play their way into future plans. Maybe a guy plays over his head for a few months as a rookie and makes an actual difference, or maybe they all fall flat on their faces. Either way, I’ll risk the unknown over the known bad.

Speaking for myself, I don’t need to see Adam Eaton, Jake Lamb, Leury Garcia, or Billy Hamilton ever again.

I think Garcia and Hamilton have value but as others have pointed out they can't be playing/appearing four to five games a week. That's the issue. And the Sox for reasons that have been discussed ad nauseum don't have other options.

Yup. Still in the driver's seat and it's not like we got embarrassed by a bad team. We got swept on the road by a very good team. We were in it for 2/3 games.

Though Hendriks looked terrible today. He missed everything.
