  • New 1972 Sox Book...

Just letting everyone know a new book on the 1972 White Sox, Dick Allen and what Chicago was like back then is coming out this Fall. Dr. David Fletcher who was a pall bearer at Dick's funeral, is one of the co-author's. He sent me the cover and it definitely has a 70's vibe to it. Something you may want to be on the lookout for this Fall:

Hard to believe it's been almost 50 years since Allen and company gave the A's a run for their money, I like to believe that if Melton hadn't hurt his back, the Sox would have won the division. Should be a good and interesting book.

Lip, does the book have a title?

"Chili Dog MVP" appears to be it.
