What a nice way to start the playoffs!

Most of these guys are in the playoffs for the first time, and this was played almost perfectly. Feeling REALLY good about our chances with Keuchel going tomorrow. Don't stop now, boys!

Giolito was masterful . Jose is god . "everyone loves the Chicago White Sox" <- quote from ESPN . that's something that you never heard on that station in the past . can't wait until tomorrow's game.

Fun game to watch, Giolito came up big in a big game, silencing his WSI critics.

Nice to see that Adam Engel power get things started, Abreu being Abreu, and Grandal with some big insurance.

Woohoo! Great outing for Giolito and I'm thrilled that Abreu finally gets to play in a post-season game after all those years of suffering through lousy Sox teams......and he gets a HR too!

Almost want to keep Engel out there again for Game 2. The White Sox outfield was death for fly balls today. Sit McCann who didn't do so hot today and have Eloy DH.

That said: the Sox got most of their offense against Luzardo, and tomorrow's A's starter is a right-hander who is the defending AL player of the month. Keuchel will need to have a historic performance.

Great game all around. Kudos to Giolito. Kudos to Engel, who's had a great year - sometimes the answer, is right under your nose.

Great win!! This makes up for the last nine days of torture. Let's in tomorrow and not have to worry about a Game 3 starter (yet).

If Keuchel wants to throw to McCann, then McCann should get the start.

Let's not forget TA going 3/4. Moncada just missed a huge double in the first and another one in the 3rd. At least the second one advanced TA and then for some weird reason they pitched to Abreu (THANK's Oakland!)

                        Gee-Oh-Leet-Oh... That... is... all...

I think this was the first time ESPN had to cover the White Sox, an expansion team.

Keuchel has been pitching to Grandal most of the season and that’s been going well enough.

Depends on Eloy’s health, but I’d like to see Engel-Robert-Mazara with Eloy at DH and Grandal behind the plate.

The White Sox are NOT an expansion team. They are a charter member of the American League.
