Looks like the Sox need to draft players whose last names start with I, U and X!

There has never been a major leaguer whose last name begins with X. There have been 60 or so players in college/minor/foreign leagues, mostly Taiwan, Mexico.

Nin, Quinteiro released.

Edit: Jose Nin released. Luis Nin remains, but is old for his level and might not be much of a prospect. Quinteiro’s release surprised me since he had some skills.
